  • Call for Volunteers
Volunteers for MASHOUT are once again needed for:

  • Site Setup – Preparing the MASHOUT site on Friday morning. Tasks include canopy setup, firewood foraging, barn cleanup for Saturday night’s party, and setup of recreational equipment.
  • Registration Table - Helping to check-in MASHOUT campers on Friday and Saturday, issuing name tags and vehicle passes, and providing event information. A registration table keg will be provided as an incentive. Shifts should be short if enough people volunteer.
  • Trash & Cleanup – Helping with cleanup after Saturday night’s barbecue and Sunday morning’s pancake breakfast.
  • Pancake Cooking – Helping out with the traditional pancake breakfast on Sunday morning. The more stoves and grills we have, the better. Help in removing leftover corn from cobs is also much appreciated.
  • Site Takedown – Taking down and packing up canopies and recreational equipment plus making sure the site has been cleaned up and trash properly segregated for removal.
  • Contacts -
    • All those interested in volunteering should contact the MASHOUT Coordinator, Bill Ridgely at ridgely@burp.org.
    • Volunteers are also needed for the check-in table at MASHOUT. Please contact Check-In Table Coordinators Bob & Kathleen Warriner if you are willing to devote an hour or two to this important function. E-mail Bob & Kathleen at bkwarriner@aol.com or call 301-588-3037.
